HDMI Monitor using internal not external speakers

No idea if this is the place for it. Wondering if you guys had a solution. Got the Sceptre 27 inch monitor plugged into my computer with HDMI. Sound comes out the crap build in monitor speakers. But when I plug in headphones or 2.1 speakers into the back of it in its only audio jack sound continues to come out of the internal speakers. Thanks guys for reading this post.

Answering my own question after 4 hours of looking into it. This monitor only has audio in. Sorry for wasting your time.
