hi, I know this is probably really stupid question but im going to ask anyway.
I own hp omen laptop which comes with 2 usb3.0 and 1 usb 2.0 . I know that newer models come with usb 3.1 and type c, but it is pretty expensive and im going to use my current one for probably few years.
because usb type c is getting more popular day by day, it is quite sad that my laptop doesn't have one. since i have hdmi port that i don't use often, i wanted to know if I can simply hook up hdmi to usb c cable and us it for "data transfer" and not videos. Is this possible??
