Solved! HDMI speaker being recognized as a display

I have a vizio soundbar and it is being recognized as a display. It is annoying because windows will get stuck in an invisible space. When i disable the "display" in display settings, the sound turns off and it isnt recognized.

That sounds right, the HDMI connection is to connect a video source to the speaker than then use the HDMI out to then connect to a TV. For audio, use the audio inputs.

So if you don't want that HDMI to carry video, how do you pipe the video to the TV?

The intention is:

PC ----(single HDMI carrying audio and video)------>SB (strip audio and plays it)------(forward video to)----->TV.

So if PC sees SB as display, don't freak out, because that's how is suppose to work.
