Hdmi splitter problem

am trying to connect 2 tvs to 1 blue ray with hdmi. Using splitter but cannot get picture unless I unplug 1 of the cables. Blueray player is a samsung and only has hdmi output ,no component output. Anybody know what I am doing wrong.

Its probably DRM. HDMI uses HDCP as DRM and you basically would need a splitter that ignores the DRM and just so you know, not all of them do.

If you are trying to use a passive splitter like this one

they don't work.
You need an active HDMI distribution amplifier
