Direct TV receiver box has composite video (yellow - video red/white - audio) output and a HDMI (to my 1st HDTV) output but no coax output.

Composite video cables are connected to a RF modulator (6203) converting the composite video to a coax output and connecting coax to my 2nd HDTV in another room.

Is there any picture quality degradation with this setup?

Thanks

Seeing as composite can only carry a SD signal then yes mate - a huge amount of quality loss, coax rf will reduce the quality even further.
