i was gonna purchase Sennheiser PC 350 or Sennheiser HD 380 at Amazon but something i heard bothered me.
what i heard is, onboard sound card can keep up with? handle 35~50ohm headphones.
do i need an amp or sound card? my motherboard is p8b75-m lx plus.

if i have to purchase sound card, plz recommend a well-known external sound card.

Most motherboards with Front panel audio connections (for the case) will be significantly louder than the rear jacks on the motherboard. This reason is to drive the headphones (as this area is more common for headphones) with more amplification while the rear's are designed for speaker systems with their own amp.

If your case doesn't have front panel audio to connect wires to the motherboard audio pins, get a sound card. The rear jacks wont be enough for your headphones to enjoy.
