Hi,

About a year ago I bought the Kingston Hyper X Cloud's and loved them. There were some issues with them and instead of them getting repaired/replaced I got a refund for $117. Obviously now that I don't have a headset I am looking to buy one in around the $100 - $150 *AUD* including postage. My issue with my Hyper X Clouds have definitely not turned me away from the brand, so I was looking at getting the Cloud II's. The clouds were one of the comfiest headsets I had tried on so I thought this would be a great option, but I would also love some other opinions. I generally like to buy from https://www.pccasegear.com because it is reasonably close to where I live and I can save the postage money buy going and picking it up in store but will consider any other store that ships to Aus (with reasonable postage)

Right at your low end price of $100 AUD: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/17094/steelseries-siberia-v2-full-size-headset-black

StealSeries Siberia V2 - I own these and I like them, I can wear them for a good while with only minimal discomfort that I only notice
when I have nothing playing through them. The sound quality is ok, they produce decent bass that doesn't over power the rest of the sound range that they produce.

They have a microphone which you can pull out of the left ear piece when needed. If you don't need it you can easily slide it back into the ear piece. There is a switch inline with the cable that is used to turn the mic on and off for extra security.
