Heart Pounding MUSIC ONLY device

I want the heart pounding MUSIC experience but ONLY FOR LISTENING to music ( from internet and radio). I dont want to connect it to the TV. So are there like ONLY music systems which have speakers and woofers, because internet keeps on saying use sound bars or home theater systems for your TV. I am very confused.

Well my budget is 500-700 $.....Source of mp3 would just be internet and radio....You know the usual...

For that budget, I would recommend a good pair of headphones and a headphone amp.

bookshelf speakers and a stereo amp would also work. you can pair it with a pc for internet radio and mp3 or use other devices for that.
