Solved! Help! Brand new projector turns off after 30 ish seconds

Hello,

I'll try to Be quick. I got this and tested it out a couple times for short portions of movies with USB movies and it worked fine. The other night I watched an hour of lord of the rings with no issues. Today, my 50' hdmi came and i connected that to my projector that is mounted on the ceiling. The only difference is now it won't turn off after about one minute. For instance, I will start a movie, then there will Be nothing at first, then a large black spot will begin taking over the entire 80" screen And it slowly grows. Once it gets to a certain point, the projector shuts off. This happened first with the hdmi cable but then with the USB as well. Okay, I just tried again as I was typing this and the black spot came back while on the projector main menu. Nothing stressful at all. I stood on my bed close to the projector And there was 0 sound. The fans just never turn on. Please help me Fix this im already returning like 5 failed amazon orders so I want to make this work!

By the way that projector has a native resolution of 800 x 480. If you watch a 16:9 HD video you don't even get SD resolution since the panel is 4:3. For $90 it's basically a kids toy.

Thanks for the insults on my purchase guys, fixed it by loosening a screw and now it works great again.

Didn't mean to dis you here.
Just a heads up since the ads for this type of projector are kind of murky.
I would suggest you put some nail polish on the screw so it doesn't move again.
