Help guys help

Hey guys please help me.My hardisk is a1 tb toshiba hardisk.my tv cant recognise it any more.But my laptop can.please help me.when connected to my tv it makes a sound.it used to work in my tv.

Maybe not enough power is getting to it from the USB port, or the TV USB port went bad. Test the TV with another drive. Try a dual-head USB cable to extra power the drive or an external power plug for it.
