Help in buying old Laptop (Lenovo Ideapad Y550p)

Hi,

I want to buy old laptop of mine friend of 2010 model

The specs are
Lenovo Ideapad Y550p (Core i7 quad core with Nvidia geforce with CUDA)
4GB RAM, 450 GB Harddisk.

The Laptop has been used for 4 years and the battery is giving 10 minutes
of backup only. Otherwise the laptop is in good condition

Can you guys help me in deciding the price of the lappy as iam willing to buy it.

I assume this is the: Lenovo IdeaPad Y550P(324156U) NoteBook Intel Core i7 720QM (1.60GHz) 4GB Memory 500GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M 15.6" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

upgraded ones (with Solid State Drive and windows 8) are selling on ebay for 350 MAX.

That said, you will need a 35-50$ battery.

This being your friend, and depending on the condition of the plastics, I would offer between 180-250 for it. Id say that is fairish value.
