help my Samsung laptop won't turn on

Help, my laptop won't turn on, fan goes when I do try to turn it on, green light for charge and a blue light when I try to turn it on and no screen just black, what can I do to make it work? Help thanks

This may sound silly but have you tried holding the power button down for at least 15 seconds once you see lights and hear the fan to ensure it successfully powers off, then try turning on again?

Sometimes the button can trigger a sleep or hibernate mode.

If not then see if you can connect it to an external display via HDMI or VGA (whatever the laptop supports/you have the cables for) to see if it's just a screen issue and go from there.

Pull the battery and unplug it. Let it sit for a minute to discharge any caps. Replace the battery, plug in and try again. Good luck!
