Hello! I was charging my tablet overnight because it was dead and when I woke up in the morning I took it off the charger because it was up to 80%. I was using it until it just blacked out and I couldn't get it to turn on. I tried EVERYTHING! Please help! If my mum knows, she will get mad!

THIS WORKED FOR ME. However... some models the internal battery plug pops straight up, other videos online show it coming straight out. Look hard and be careful. Also must use a low wattage power source after reconnecting the battery. I tried the USB on a handly pc thinking that would be super low rate of charge and it kept stopping the connection saying there was an error, so I found an older cell phone charger. My 2A high power chargers would not get it going. However, unplugging the battery internally, hitting the power and volume buttons then hooking it back up after a few minutes then using a lower wattage charger and it started charging immediately. THANK YOU!!!

Hello!
I have tablet tf701t and the screen does not turn on when I turn on the device. When device is connected to pc I see that is working fine. My tablet works now from the moment when battery was drained. Someone know the cause? Can I repair by myself? Thankd for any suggestion.

Huge "thank you" to blademaster123 and Toms for keeping a 2013 solution available. Used blademater's "trickle-charge" and saved 2 Asus Transformer computers yesterday!

I used an LG flip phone charger. Couldn't stand the suspense after three hours, so pushed Power and nothing. Then, pushed the top of the Volume button along Asus left side (assuming that was volume up) and then Power; and whamo, my dead computer came back to life. After charging to 20 percent, I plugged in my Asus charger and everything's working again.

Did the same trickle-charge to my son's Asus with same results, Except, his computer seems to have dead battery. Won't charge beyond 12 and then goes down quickly. Plugging the cell-charger in keeps it on but the charge dwindles.

The following worked in 3 hours when NOTHING ELSE I tried did. Thanks, again, blademaster123!

The solution:
"Possibly your battery has been allowed to become flattened to the point where it cannot accept a charge from the wall charger. the best thing to do is to try and trickle charge your tablet from a low voltage/amperage connection. Either a powered on PC USB port to the charging connector on your tablet, or from a low power phone charger (5v/500ma). It has been pretty well documented that lithium batteries do not like to be drained fully & it may be that the battery in your tablet has drained so low that it cannot accept a charge from the Asus a/c charger."

I think the answers is Not to buy Asus - I purchased a Zenpad over the Christmas period 49 days with 5 days use it failed to switch on - Asus failed to answer their phones Web site failed to function - now have unreliable pad with no faith in it....sitting on shelf would never buy Asus again their warranty procedures sucks.
