Question Help needed getting chrome cast to work through AV receiver.

Seriously need help to configure this set up!

I have a Humax HDR -75 10T set top box
Pioneer VSX -534 AV Receiver
Samsung LA40 M81BD TV
Chrome cast.

Currently have set up with HDMI cables running from
one of two HDMI IN on TV to HDMI OUT on AV receiver
HDMI IN on AV to only HDMI Port on STB (assume HDMI out)
External antenna plugged into STB Antenna in.

Chrome cast only works when it is plugged into one of the TVs HDMI OUT ports

I don’t get any speaker sound doing this because the amp isn’t in use with chrome cast so I know I have it set up incorrectly . When I plug it into AV I can’t see it on TV. The HDMI inputs on AV are Cble/Sat (this is the one I use to connect the STB) , BD/DVD , Game, Strmbox ( this is the one I tried for Chrome cast) I have tried moving antenna from STB to AV but needed adapter and only got blue screen.
What am I doing wrong?
