I have a JVC LT-49C862 TV. I've bought an android MXQ Pro box and also a Goodmans sound bar. The MXQ box is connected to the TV via HDMI cable and the soundbar via RCA phono cables. However neither seem to work. I know there is probably a setting on the TV I need to enable to 'allow' them to work but I can't find it. Can you help?

Solution
According to the specs on the TV there doesn't seem to be an analog audio output so the RCA connectors you used would be inputs. The only way to get audio out of it is to use HDMI-ARC. If the soundbar only has analog inputs you will need an audio extractor like this one connected to the single HDMI-ARC input. ARC has to be turned on in the TV menu too.

As for the android box the order you select the input on the TV and boot the box may affect whether the TV and box "handshake" or detect each other.
