I'm comparing the Kid A Mnesia exhibition sound quality on ps5 with the sound of the actual album from a laptop on Edifier s3000 Pro's which are Active speakers so they have an amp built in, and it's completely day and night, PS5 is much louder and sounds 10 times better... Why?

OK.. It turns out that Bluetooth absolutely sucks beyond what one could possibly imagine, and nobody tells you. I just plugged my laptop in via USB and it sounds as good as the ps5...

This depends on the bluetooth hardware used, I have used several good quality adapters and the change is not much from a direct wire in. You also should have mentioned you were using different connections in the first post, incomplete info makes troubleshooting impossible. Those speakers should sound good with a better bluetooth signal going to them.

Bluetooth can sometimes be a bit inconsistent. There can also be a small lag. I'd always plug in directly if possible.
