Heres a thing

I installed Google Chrome.
Clicked on Chrome, it opened and i selected the Google icon, which in turn opened onto the Google home page.
I saved the Google home page to Desktop and then shifted it to the task bar - so i have an effective shortcut.
But - when i click that shortcut it opens to IE9 - how?.

the default program to open html documents is still set to IE9. you need to change that to Chrome.
