Hi, can any one help me connect laptop to my Sony HT RT3 Hometheatre and my projector Optoma HD28DSE?

I want to connect laptop to projector with my home theatre.. Could some one give step wise directions and with a cables which would be required?

My laptop has
1 HDMI out port and
1 3.5 mm jack

HT:
1 port Optical TV
1 port HDMI out
1 port Analog IN

Optoma projector
2 HDMI ports
1 Audio out jack
12 V out port
1 mini USB port

Option 1
Connect the laptop HDMI out to the projector. Connect the 3.5 mm analog audio out of the laptop to the HT analog input.
You will not get digital surround sound only analog.
Option 2
Connect the laptop HDMI out to an HDMI input selector with audio extraction like this one

Connect the HDMI out of the switch to the projector. Connect the optical audio out of the switch to the HT.
This will give you digital surround sound. It will also work for any other sources you connect to the switch.
