Hi I purchased chromecast. works fine except sound does not come out of my external speakers. suggestion was to purchase HDMI to HDMI converter with3.5 audio 5.1 CH2.1CH

I have have connected and set up chromecast on the TV but have no idea how to connect it to the converter. Please help. thank you

What are your external speakers connected to?

1. Plug the Chromecast into the HMDI input of the converter.
2. Connect the converter HDMI output to the TV with an HDMI cable.
3. Connect the audio output of the converter to your external speaker. Use the digital out if you can.
