Smart TVs are like computers. Power buttons on smart TVs only put the TV into standby. You need to try a hard reset on the TV. You should try a cold boot. Unplug the TV from the wall power outlet, wait about 20 seconds and then plug it back in. Wait a little while for the TV to boot. Then turn it on with the power button or remote control. If that doesn't work then return it to the store.
