Hi... Please, there is one hp 6460p motherboard with me. It powers normal without ram; but with ram, it powers on and go off.

I have tried checking through the schematic diagram but couldn't find any fault. Only that when ram is installed, the '3v always' will go off after some seconds. I don't really know the component that could cause this kind of problem...
Really need help please...

what kind of ram did you get? what is the exact model?

I have tried different models which am sure they are working. There was once I tried cleaning the board with petrol and it started working. All of a sudden, it went back to it state.
