Hi there. Connected TV to cable box via HDMI and get nice picture but no sound. When connect laptop to TV via same HDMI cabl

Try looking in the audio menu of the cable box. Usually when you connect the HDMI cable it automatically switches but maybe yours needs a manual adjustment. Sometimes if you reboot you cable box it also helps. If not then call your cable provider.
