High Disk % on idle

Well i transefered 4-5 games from my friend to my computer, and when i installed Batman Arkham the computer startet to lag, hang, and on idle i have a high diski usage, the AVG found some treaths and i deleted and uninstalled the game, but it still hangs.

The AVG Resident Shield proces is to high all times, but it was not before i done this, so how can i solve this problem ?

Take a look at what processes are running in Task Manager. Stop the ones you definitely don't want running. Uninstall any you never want to run.

Do Checkdisk. Check your drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic software. Do a virus scan eg avast, malwarebytes.

set avg on a lower priority in it settings or in task manager.

My boot ups and shut downs are slower to now, the disk have some problems, any guesses ? is a file corupt or the anti virus hang on ' finding something' so the shield is operating non stop

run chkdsk and it will fix you problems

Run as many of this as you like. When done use Ccleaner junk cleaner and use its startup management tools to disable unneeded background program to free up your computer resource. Registry cleaner is optional that give very marginal benefit, remember where you saved your deleted registry backup if you decide to use this incase something goes wrong.

malware byts and avast is plenty enough.

do a full scann and boot scan with both.

uninstall avg it sucks and my conflict with anyother things you install and make your computer worse!

Hey, Jamall!

I guess you can also try to resolve this high percentage of HDD usage by disabling some Windows Services as well, after doing the malware/virus scans.
Try pressing Windows+R
Write services.msc
Disable:
1-Super fetch
2-Windows Search
3-Background Intelligent Transfer Service

The BITS helped me, i mean, i founded it 3 hours ago on youtube i guess, so it got better, but still, my pc is laggin for 5 minutes after exiting a game, for a example, dying light, the system local networkg something gets 12 MB and pushes the HDD on 100%, and on usage i see my pc is kinda laggin a bit, so can i fix it to normal again ? it is better, but it can be more better, thank u folks for the help
