Hot keys for Keying speed

So I fumbled my keyboard the other day and I must have hit a function key or combination that slows the keying rate. I have to count 3-4 seconds with in IE browser windows before the next entry. A little help please. It did not effect other Browsers or programs.

I'm not aware of any keyboard settings which are unique to IE, there are only global keyboard settings in
Control Panel >> Keyboard.
