How can i fix my phone that wont power on

my samsung exclaim wont power on but the keyboard lights up when i charge it

Strange issue. I assume that it will not power on even when you have it attached to the charger? Try taking the battery out and then see if it will power on after putting it back in. If not, I would attempt to get ahold of your carrier and see what they have to say on the matter. They may have some troubleshooting methods for that particular model that I am unaware of.
