Solved! How can I reduce my gaming laptop temps?

Evening all, I was hoping you guys could possibly tell me how to reduce my laptop temps?

I currently get 90-95 on the cpu and 90-92 on the GPU under load (Playing any old game on medium settings and newers games on low).

My laptop is a MSI GP62MVR 7RFX-880 Leopard Pro.

I have a cooling pad and have undervolted my CPU and underclocked my GPU but it doesnt seem to do any good, I still have those temps and horrible stutters mid game with a goddamn GTX 1060 3gb.

Would reapplying thermal paste do any good? What do you guys suggest I do?

if it stiil under warranty dont open it and ask for rma on it due to high temp .

1. place your laptop on 4 wooden planks (at all corners) to make it so their is air under your laptop (you can also buy an aftermarket cooling stand)
2. reapplying thermal paste might work
3. make sure your room isn't to hot
4. don't overload your gpu/cpu
5. their is not much more you can do then buy a new laptop

Remove casing, insert parts into desktop case.

Seriously though, whats mentioned above is about all you can do. If the laptop is still under any sort of warranty, you could bring it up with the supplier and see they're willing to take a look and let them replace the paste.

Unfortunately I've already opened it to install a new m.2 ssd

you stil have the old drive that came with put it back you warraty should be still valid it wil be out only if you open the case to go in the sytem board .
