We bought a samsung smart tv thinking that it had a headphone jack. It appears that this smart tv does not. My husband is hard of hearing and needs to use headphones, is there anyway we can buy somthing to accomodate this
It's a clunky solution, but there are quite a few devices on the market that place a microphone in front of the TV speakers and connect wirelessly to an earphone. My father uses one.

What's the make and model of the TV? is it connected to a PC or just Ethernet?
We can't check what connections your TV has without the model number.
Most likely it has an optical audio output. You can connect a bluetooth transmitter to it. That will allow the use of wireless headphones. The problem is that most TVs require you to turn the TV speakers off to turn on the optical audio output. Check the TV manual on how to use and configure the audio output. If you have to turn the TV speakers off then you would need to split the audio output and connect a soundbar for yourself.
