I connected the HDMI cable from laptop to tv press FN-F5 buttons but nothing is coming out the TV why?

Yes I have selected the HDMI port no. 2 on the tv menu "source" still nothing there?? The tv is only 2 months old. Ciao

If the native resolution of the laptop isn't compatible with the TV you won't get a picture.
In the video control panel set the HDMI output as a 2nd display and adjust the video resolution to match that of the TV.
The order you boot the laptop and select HDMI 2 on the TV will affect how the two handshake. Reverse the order.
