I got an HP Pavilion a few months ago. It has 750 gb of storage, 4 gb ram, 17.3 in screen, dvd/cd optical drive, and Intel graphics 4400. The graphics card, I found out a while ago, is absolute crap. I looked up the graphics memory and it says: Total graphics memory: 1792 MB. Dedicated video memory: 0 MB. System Video memory: 0 MB. Shared System memory: 1792 MB. For those of you who think that total graphics memory do anything in the form of games and rendering in CREO, think again. Anyway, my question is: Can I change the graphics card even though it is probably integrated? If not, can I add another GPU and use that instead, or will my motherboard not support it? Even if it is integrated, would I be able to cut it off or something and wire a new GPU on? Would it be possible to remove the optical drive and put a GPU in its place?
PLEASE HELP IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIX THIS FOR MONTHS. THANKS
