How do I connect Sony KDL49WE6xx to a Bose Solo sound bar ? Cables provided don't fit anything on the tv ?

The connecting cables from the Bowe Solo 5 sound bar don't fit anything on the Sony Bravia KDL-49WE6xx tv. Does anyone know what cable I need to or adapter which will fit the tv to use this sound bar ? Seems abit silly for a tv not have a compatible optical or coaxil connection!! Help Cheers all.

The Sony KDL49WE6xx only has a 3.5mm port for the use of a Audio Out or Digital Audio Out (no seperate/dediated Optical port).

So, you need to get either: 1) a 3.5mm cable (to be connected directly to the 3.5mm input port of your Solo 5 and the TV) or 2) an Optical-to-3.5mm adapter (to be connected to the Optical Cable that came with the Solo 5 and into the TV), as illustrated in page 28-29 of your manual (https/www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/res/manuals/4689/46896421M.pdf).
