How do I disable automatic captions on Netflix mobile app?

I watch netflix like all the time on my tablet and every single time a new episode starts the captions turn back on. I have an 8inch tablet and the captions are huge. It's getting really annoying. I've looked in the settings and there's nothing. What can I do?

Tap on the video while it's playing and there should be and option to turn off subtitles in the upper right corner of the screen.

Yes but that doesn't permanently disable it.

I've done some research, and gone on the actual app. And as of now there is no option to permanently tun off subtitles on the Android version of Netflix. Though I'm looking into another possible solution, I'll notify you if it works.
