How do I get my RCA tru flat tv from channels to input so I could watch my DVD player

I can't figure out how to change my RCA TV from channels to input mode without a remote

You may not be able to without the remote.
If the TV has channel up and down buttons on it you can try tuning below channel 2. On older TVs that worked. Otherwise get a replacement remote or a good universal like the Logitech Harmony. Some cheaper ones don't have all the functions of the original remote.
