How do I get rid of this adware?

It's infected all my browsers. Let's say I search for google, when I hit enter the browsers opens up another tab with adware. When I use the google search engine, it gets hijacked and it replaced with another search engine. I reset all my history and I thought it was fixed but then it came back. How do I get rid of this problem for good? I've used my anti virus as well but it hasn't detected anything.

download and run malwarebytes free version

and also look in add/remove programs for any suspicious looking browser add ons and remove any found

Also along with malwarebytes look at extensions in your browser

First off i would download a great tool called trend housecall. http/housecall.trendmicro.com/uk/ . This is very effective at clearing out any viruses and Trojans. After you have run that i would recommend resetting your browser or even reinstalling it. I hope this works for you.
