How do I set the SD card to storage on a galaxy ace

How do I get the SD card to work on old galaxy ace as I don't have much internal phone storage

On that device you can't set the SD card as "Internal" storage, which is what you need to put apps on the card. It has to old of an Android version. You can put other files on it, just not apps. Also, it can only handle a card up to 32GB. https/www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_ace_s5830-3724.php
