how do I set up my hdtv to a standard cable box not using hd cable or hd service

Does anyone know how to set up a hdtv to a standard cable box? I'm not going to use an hdmi cable or a hd box, only standard to view tv in standard mode. Hope you can help, thank you

It depends on what ports your TV has as input and what the cable box has for output. You may not be able to use the coax output of the cable box because it may be analog only and you TV only has a digital tuner. Yellow/Red/White RCA cables would be one option. But that depends on the ports.

If your TV has interface A, B, C (pick one) then tell cable provider, gimme a set-top box with interface (whatever you picked).
