How do I turn on screen mirroring on my ipad

I have a smart blu ray player and can select screen mirroring on it, I want to then connect my iPad to it so that it will display on TVs, not sure where to enable this and connect on the iPad.

You will either need a lightning adapter cable or an Apple TV. I would recommend the Apple TV ;-)
