How do you turn off AVG\'s free edition auto scan

Every time I turn on my computer the AVG free edition BUY NOW auto scan comes on. How do I get it off without buying it?

Every time I turn on my computer the AVG free edition BUY NOW auto scan comes on. How do I get it off without buying it?

Response is to your post title, not your post text, which is different.
Opinions vary from, "you can't turn it off in the free version", to

open up Control center
you click on "test center"
when you click on it, it takes you to the Test Center, on the left side you actually click on
"Scheduler" when you click on it,
it takes you to the "scheduled tasks"
so pretty much you have to double click the sheduled task, uncheck!
