how to balance headphones

hi guys! my razer kraken pro headphones broke a few days ago. the driver went completely off though the cord was fine, the audio quality was the same. My father managed to fix them but i think the cord got damaged because now the balance is off and one side is way louder than the other. i don't think anything else got damaged tough so i think that by leveling them i can fix that. is there a way to do so? i'm talking on my PC and\or on my lumia 920.

ok i found a way to level them trough windows' speaker properties although now their volume is lower

Maybe when he rewired them he got the wires out of phase.

he didn't rewire them. at least he wasn't trying to. anyway is there a way to do so on windows phone? i can't find any app that does that for some reason
