How to block unknown callers on a cell phone

Is there a way to block unknown numbers from calling my mobile phone?

Depending on what sort of phone you have, you can download an application that will take care of the blocking.

Agree with buwish. Suppose you have a Nokia E71. Then you can try to install a Symbian application for your Nokia E71 called Handy Blocklist by Epocware. You can add specific phone numbers to prevent them calling you! The unwanted calls are blocked immediately.
