how to connect android mxq box to analog power amp?

i have connected a digital to analog converter with a digital cable going to the mxq box and rca cables going to the power amp but still no sound. please help!

Many DACs will only work with a PCM 2 channel input.
If you can't set the audio output of the mxq correctly then connect the DAC to your TV and set it to output PCM.
There are DACs that will accept a 5.1 input.
