Hello
Please I need someone try it before answering.

I buy DT990 pro with fiio e10k to connect it to ps4 pro but the sound is very very quiet i can’t hear any thing how can i make run ok . Also i buy modmic 5.0 but i will connect it throw the ps4 controller.

So should I buy another amp/dac ? And what is it ? or there some solutions to work fine with fiio e10k.

The e10k doesn't have enough power to drive 250 ohm headphones. The standard DT990 32 ohm version should work with the e10k. If you want to use the Pro version you will need a DAC/Amp that has a compatible amp. You can check on head-fi.org for suggestions.

Actually for once I might have to disagree with you. I have a Fiio Q1 which has a weaker amp section than the E10K ( 190mW vs 200mW at 32ohms ) and it will drive my ( 300ohm ) HD 600s and HD 650s louder than I'd listen to them. It won't do it on battery power but it will while plugged into a USB port. The DT 990s are on the easier to drive side of being 250ohms from what I've read.

Omg , thats confuses me more than before because I read half of internet pages and most of them say e10k can drive dt990 at 250 ohm note: when I use it with ps4 usb its didn't but its did on pc and works fine .

Now I order the Smsl dp1 and hope it’s well work on ps4 by toslink ( optical audio) .

I think i pay more than I expect :)

So when the E10K is plugged into a PC USB port it has plenty of power for the DT 990s? The PS4 USB ports must not supply the same power as the PC.

Don't forget you need a Y adapter to plug a mic (mic only) into the PS4 controller.
