How to connect old Sony Digital Handycam to LG Smart TV

I have an old Sony Mini DV Digital Handycam that I would like to connect to my LG Smart TV - preferably via HDMI or USB. Can anyone advise me if this is possible - and if so, what would I need to buy in terms of cables/adaptors?

You're going to need http/www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1000107-REG/pearstone_mavc_106_mini_to_3_rca.html and a TV that supports old-school composite video. If your TV has S-Video, that's also fine, but it's very rare now. You really have no other options.
