I have sony bdv-e290 home theater but i want to proper connect second sub woofer which i spare one at home so kindly help me step by step to ensure proper installation. it has ht audio connector.

Is the spare sub passive?
Then it's not likely that there will be enough power to drive it and the original sub together. You might damage the main unit of the HTS. You could try using the better of the two alone. Using two different subs isn't better just maybe louder.
If the spare is active then you would need to use a speaker to line level converter. You would have to cut the original cable to connect the converter. That would feed the active subwoofer. Again use the better subwoofer rather than both.

Agreed. A second sub is not always better. In fact, may sound worse. Slightly different freq response may introduce unwanted harmonics, and muddy the sound.

I'm considering a second sub, but only because my Denon is specifically made for 2, and if I get one, will be the exact same PolkAudio model.
