how to fix a tablet that wont turn on home screen

My samsung galaxy tab 3 wont turn onto home screen. Ive tried everything!!
It turns on but only stays on ,on the bit where it says samsung... and just stays like that !! Someone help please !!
And it only works if yr charger is plugged in.. it happend because i done a software update but it didnt work and hasnt turned onto home screen since. I still want my stuff without damaging it or loosing it. Please someone help me if u know what to do. Im desperate now

Sometimes, but not always, unplug the charger and press the Power button for ten seconds or so. Doing that drains what's known as the flea pweor and might just kickstart it when you put the power cable back in. It's worth a shot.

Narywolfe1864 - this is a near one year old thread. You would get better advice by starting a new thread of your own. Is your problem exactly the same as teewa described?
