How to Fix Roku Remote Issues

The Roku remote is a brilliant device with new voice accessibility features. If you come across issues with response or synching, it is largely because of a poor connection with your Roku device. Follow these simple steps to fix your Roku remote yourself.

1. Open the ‘Battery Lid’
Open the battery lid at the back of your remote. This lets you replace the batteries and also access the remote reset button. The remote reset button is directly below the battery compartment.
Also check whether your batteries have run out. Roku will not work with dead batteries so try new ones to see if that resolves your problem.

4. ‘Re-insert’ Batteries
Before your Roku device re-starts, 'Remove the Batteries' from the compartment. After the Roku starts, 'Replace the Batteries'. You will see a green light flashing on the remote. This signifies that your remote is ready to sync with the Roku device.
The Roku Enhanced Remote Pairing screen will appear on your TV. The process will take a minute or so. When it’s complete, the green LED on your remote will flash one last time. The remote is now synced with your Roku device and you will be able to use it without issues.
