How to get 5.1 audio with soundcard PC?

Okay. I'm currently using a sound card which I bought so I could get 5.1 surround sound on my headphones. However, I decided that I should buy an optical cable to be able to play on my TV and get 5.1 surround sound out of my receiver. The sound card model I have is this: Creative Sound Blaster Z SBX PCIE Gaming Sound Card System Builder Version SB1502 70SB150200000

My issue is that I'm not getting 5.1 surround sound using my YAMAHA RX-V373 AV Reciever using optical cable. I would like help in finding a sound card that does. It also has to have a 3.5mm microphone jack. The Reciever supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't be making this if I was getting 5.1. I have tried playing something that is 5.1, war thunder on steam is 5.1 but I don't get 5.1 ss. I've also tried GTA iv and no 5.1
