I have been looking online on how to hook my ps3 up to my chromebook and found nothing I came here hoping to find my answer. My other question is how to find my hdmi screen?

The port on your, and pretty much every other laptop and computer, is for output only.
If you want to see the PS3 screen on the laptop you can use a capture card.
