I got a serviced windows 7 installation and it recognized my laptop as toshiba but i reinstalled my OS and now i don't have that. I need some files from that to enable my wi-fi adapter because it's turned off and i can't turn it on with FN+F8 so i saw somewhere that it could work. So where from do i download them, or does it include in a Service Pack 1? Thanks

It should by default have generic drivers or Authentic that were supplier to Microsoft by the Manufactures. If not you can go to the Toshiba site itself and get the OEM drivers for that particular laptop, you will still have to install SP1 though. Plug your laptop into your router with a Ethernet cable and grab what you need that way should you not want to use a 2nd machine.

I did not get the original disk because i got the laptop from my cousin, it's not a new one. Will installing this service pack install those programs and files for sure?
