How to Install Unlisted Channels on a Roku device

Unlisted channels, also known as non-certified channels are those used regularly by developers to test new stuff. Also, some of these non-official channels feature different content than the one the thousands available in Roku´s listing do. This feature makes these channels compelling to bored customers and curious wanderers alike.

  • ■ Note that the hardest thing about adding a non-listed channel is to find it. You need to have the exact code to find it in the search.
Step 1
Go to my.roku.com
Once there, it will ask you to login if you are not already.

Step 2
Scroll down to ‘Manage Account’
Once you are logged in you will find ‘Add channel with a code’ under the header ‘Manage Account’.

Select the ‘Add channel’ option to add a channel with a code. Once you do, type the channel´s code in the space provided in the center of the page.

Step 4
Accept the 'Warning' Sign
A Warning sign will pop up in your screen telling you that the channel you are about to see wasn´t reviewed by Roku. Adding a non-certified channel is something that users do under their own responsibility.

  • ■ If Roku decides that the content in the channel contains any kind of illegal content, violates copyright and/or Roku´s terms and conditions, it might disable it without prior notice and also block your account from adding any other hidden channels in the future.
    ■ Roku´s terms and conditions apply to listed and unlisted channels, meaning that they are not allowed to feature pirate content.
