Solved! How to recycle a JBL Amp/Monitor?

Hey, so I have a broken JLB M Pro. I was going to throw it away but was wondering if I could repurpose it or maybe just buy some sort of new control unit or something to make it work again. I'm not sure whats wrong with it, since I got it from a church who was throwing it away. It seems like something happened with the control unit and they just didn't want to mess with it, so it could be a simple re-solder, or it could be completely broken, but I'm completely uneducated on this and was looking for some guidance. The speaker has a sub and a tweeter. I took a few pictures of it all, hopefully thats enough to be able to figure it out. Thanks!

I don't see any amp, looks like a plain old passive speaker with a crossover. U can find all kind of info all day on the web how these are wired, to test etc. if u don't understand what the web is telling you, not much else u can do.

Okay, so I did actually find the crossover part to be able to hook it up. Its a little expensive at almost $70. I would buy it if I knew it would work though since I got the speaker for free making it basically a $70 speaker. but how do I test to see if the speakers work or not? Do I have to just buy the part and hope that it works or is there some way to test it?

It's a passive speaker. It doesn't have a built in amp or need power supply. You will need an external audio power amplifier to drive it.
The inputs on the back are a Neutrik Speakon jack or the more common 1/4 mono phone jack. You would need a plug like this

to make a speaker cable to connect it to an amp or stereo of any kind.
From the way you ask your question I suspect you have no familiarity with this type of gear. If the church trashed it it's the speakers in it that probably blown rather than the crossover. To get it working you would need to invest in parts and time and still not have the amp to use it for anything.

Yeah thats true. Well the audio jacks on the crossover part broke, so I was hoping they just threw it away because of that and the speakers were still salvageable. I have speaker amps for speakers that are wired in my house for my Sonos system, so I may be able to hook them into one of those amps? I don't want to break anything though. I don't know the exact model but I know they are something like this-
